BUYING AF PUPPY FORM KENNEL CHURNWOOD ?

Buying a puppy is not something you "just" do. A dog lives for many years and is completely dependent on its owners throughout life. We find it extremely important that our puppies end up with the right families.

CHECKLIST - BUYING A PUPPY

We are often contacted by people who aren't quite sure of what you should ask a breeder, when you are out looking for a suitable place to buy your puppy. We have made a checklist that hopefully will shed light on the subject.

SPANIELBOGEN - THE SPANIEL BOOK

THE BEST PREPARATION FOR LIFE AS A SPANIEL OWNER

In The Spaniel book, Lotte Evers generously shares her extensive knowledge of the spaniel breeds. You get a thorough review of the eight breeds - their origin, temperament, appearance, health, care, characteristics and work ability. You can read about all aspects of the puppy purchase, what you can expect with a spaniel in the house, as well as how you can best give your spaniel a meaningful life with activities and past times that suits the breed.

The book is filled with practical and general advice on everything from child and dog, prevention of problematic behavior, home alone training, introduction of a new puppy if you allready have a dog, coat care, dog behavior and everyday activation.

The book also gets round life with the adult spaniel and guides you trough a touchy subject, with good advice  once you have reached the last chapter of your spaniel's life. The book concludes with a veterinary section on the diseases that particularly affect the spaniel breeds.

*The book is in Danish, but with almost 200 photos of spaniels.
